WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect a relaxing, safe, pampering experience whether you are receiving a wax, getting a facial, or having makeup applied. Waxes are performed with care, professionalism, and privacy. Facials happen under calming light and soothing music from spa jams to low-fi beats. Makeup is set in a fun, bright lit environment with fun music, giggles, and exactly what you’ve asked for in your makeup.
OUR STORY
Spyglass Drive was the street our founder, Bethany Rutherford’s, grandparents lived on for over 20 years; we associate Spyglass to happiness and safety just as she did to her grandparent’s house.
Started by a young woman wanting fun and professionalism in the makeup world, our founder grabbed any makeup gig she could get. Bethany began growing her business on the characteristics of “fun & professional.” Nine years later, Spyglass Beauty has morphed into a highly recommended, well trusted spa employed with incredibly talented Estheticians and Makeup Artists wanting to bring fun and professionalism into your life.
OUR FOUNDER
Our founder, Bethany Rutherford, has a passion for enhancing natural beauty with skin care. While doing wedding makeup on the side of her full-time job, she acquired her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University in Professional Communication. After graduation and growing in business, Bethany went to the Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers in Orlando, FL where she became a licensed Esthetician. She returned to her hometown in Port St. Joe, FL and opened Spyglass Beauty, a spa where clients can relax, feel safe, be pampered and get educated about the health of their skin.
