Brittney is my “Happy” Bride because that’s exactly what she was all day- happy! Brittney wanted a full beat and that’s precisely what we did. She wanted glittery eyes with dark purple lips. We did a trial run (I always recommend these for Brides) a few weeks before the wedding to test out the glitter and make sure we perfected it staying in place.

To combat glitter moving and falling, I used very strong glitter glue as well as set her eyes with setting spray (Milani’s Make it Last Setting Spray [prime + correct + set all-in-one] is my favorite and it smells like heaven in a bottle) multiple times. Her skin was beautiful prior to makeup because she had been doing a honey mask (honey on the skin covered with a warm washcloth) for weeks prior to the wedding. This is the best advice I can give upcoming brides: start your skin preparation weeks in advance.

Because this bride did her part of excellent skin care, her makeup was even more flawless on her because it was effortless! We filled her brows in with powder to keep them light so they did not distract from her bold eyes or lips at all (hair frames the face, brows frame the eyes). Brittney’s silver glitter eyes shined against the sunset. She was a flawless bride!

My Happy Bride was giggling with her bridesmaids all day and was in the best mood. She was ready to party and have the best day of her life! Brittney had a special connection with each member of her wedding party; I could see it by how she interacted with each one by sharing stories and inside jokes!
