Lacy F. : My Pretty in Pink Bride (Party of 1)

Lacy is my “Pretty in Pink” Bride. This Bride wanted light pink eyeshadow and rose gold eyeliner! It was beautiful!  I absolutely love when a Bride gets creative on her wedding day; Lacy wore a pink wedding dress and it was so lovely.

Because this Bride wanted to channel her inner Pink Lady and have everything be pink, we used BH Cosmetics Take Me Back to Brazil eyeshadow palette to have a variety of pink shadows on her eyes. After applying the eyeshadow, we went in with L’Oreal’s Voluminous Lash Paradise Liquid Eyeliner, applying the same way we would a regular black liquid liner. It could be seen in perfect light as Lacy turned her head the right way; it was a perfect touch for her pink eyeshadow!

This pretty in pink Bride was so sweet to her two children in the short amount of time I was there. This seems irrelevant, but in the stress of the wedding day panic it was so wonderful to see this Bride love on and continue to be sweet to her babies. Her baby girl even sat with us to make sure we had more than enough pink for her mama!

When a Bride wants specific makeup, as the makeup artist, it is your job to DELIVER. I love when a client wants fun colors incorporated into their makeup look; it allows my creativity to shine and their happiness to grow! The main factor of a wedding day is to understand the Bride and Groom’s happiness are of paramount importance. If a Bride wants pink, make it happen. Push your boundaries and your client will be happy with your effort and achieving their request.
