Hayley P. : My Cowgirl Bride (Party of 7)

“She’s a good girl- loves her mama,

loves Jesus, & America, too.

She’s a good girl- crazy ‘bout Elvis,

loves horses, & her boyfriend, too.”

Hayley is my “Cowgirl Bride.” This beauty is full of love and life; she loves horses and her family.  My Cowgirl Bride exudes every wonderful characteristic of a quality wife and friend inside and outside of the rodeo.

For Hayley, we wanted natural looking makeup with a touch of glam. We worked with shimmery browns and vanillas to warm up her beautiful blue eyes. This Bride wanted false lashes to open her eyes, but not be too much on her big day, so we worked with Kiss’s lashes in “Lacey” to lengthen her lashes, but not be overwhelming to the eyes or take away from her dress (this Bride had one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses I have ever seen)!

This Bride’s makeup needed to last all day so we sealed her under-eyes with Physician’s Formula CC Powder then finalized her undereye with banana powder to make sure she would not crease throughout the day even after crying and laughing. 

** PRO TIP : Set the under-eye area with a pressed powder then either bake or lightly dust with a setting powder to get in every place the pressed powder couldn’t reach to make sure your Bride’s under-eyes are set all day! **

Because this Bride has fair skin, we added a glow to her skin with Milani’s baked blush in Rose D’oro with an illuminator built in. This added an extra glow when she walked down the isle as well as added some dimension to her cheeks for photos! We bronzed and contoured her cheekbones with a matte powder to make her look as natural as possible.

** PRO TIP : Contour your face with a matte powder. Shimmers do not look natural and can show up with a muddy texture to the skin. Stick to mattes for contouring. **

This party of seven was so much fun to work with! We traveled up to Marianna to get the party ready before sending them off for a night they would never forget. Each Bridesmaid really knew Hayley.  Because the Bride gets her makeup done last, all the Bridesmaids were watching and giving “Oohs and aahs” as we finished up her makeup. The Bridal party was so much fun!
