Brianna A. : My Berry Organized Bride (Party of 5)

I call Brianna my “Berry Organized” Bride because she was my first bride I ever did that wanted a dark berry lip for her wedding day. We worked with a pore-less, matte foundation to keep the makeup from moving because she got married outdoors (we have to combat extra hard for outdoor weddings!).

We did a trial run on this gorgeous bride to practice her bold lips and thick liner. (Pro Tip: allot enough time to move slowly and make your bride comfortable while they are in the makeup chair. Don’t rush this process! Make time for photography, adult beverages, stories, talking, videography, and hugs as people enter the room [Bride is always last to get her makeup done]). Because we did a trial run a few months before the wedding, we knew exactly what Brianna wanted and had all our products in a row & ready to go!

Brianna wanted matte dark browns on the outer corner and shimmery vanilla cream on the inner corner. We topped off her eyeshadow with a thick, black, winged liner (I swear by Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner or L’Oreal’s Telescopic Precision Liquid Eyeliner) sharp enough to cut her wedding cake! The winged liner made her eyes bold and sexy behind her birdcage veil.

This Bride was nothing short of prepared and easy going on the big day. All of her ducks were in a row and she was able to relax and enjoy getting ready with her bridesmaids because of her previous preparations. Brianna and her bridesmaids laughed and breathed in the day together by sharing stories, laughing, and just being with one another. I could tell that her bridesmaids were dear friends of her’s because there was such a sweet presence in the atmosphere when I walked in that lasted throughout the entire day.
